I know Nigar's life was miserable, but many of her unfortunate came from her own action. She fall in love to Ibrahim, although she know Ibrahim already became damat. She's smart, but also cocky sometimes, like threatened Mahidevran when Gulshah stabbed Gulnihal. In other hand, she also didn't loyal to Hurrem, so she became everyone's enemy.

I think she had a liking for abusive behaviour. The first physical contact with Ibrahim was when he banged her head against the wall and choked her during the first poisoning of pregnant Hurrem. She later romanticises it in her dreams. The more he was hostile and indifferent to her, the more she fell for him. And she herself chose Rustem pasha, who was violent and very likely hated her...for political reasons mostly, but she was willing to sleep with him too.

I was just wondering why the guards in Rustem and Mihrimah's palace didn't notice that when the wicked sisters Shah and Hatice arrived to visit, they had with them four ladies-in-waiting, but left with only three! Trained guards would quicklly notice that. If that were the case, then it won't take a genius to figure out who gave the order to harm Mihrimah's household. But the writers probably wanted viewers not to think so hard about normal human details. Worse, did the writers want viewers to think that the Ottoman palaces were guarded by incompetent, robotic, unthinking security officers?😤😵😠

I had a bit of a chuckle at that, because I thought that Pargali was being a bit cheeky, saying something like that to Suleyman, & was wondering what Suleyman would say in response - but Suleyman never seemed to pick up on it, or never even tried to deny it by claiming that everyone's life was in the hands of Allah. And nearly every time that he reprimands Ahmet, Ahmet says he is repentant & it won't happen again - but then it always happens again, & this is about the 3rd or 4th time it's happened. The father has done everything he can to try to help him, & this is the last straw. Ahmet's mother always takes Ahmet's side - but this really is the last straw for the family - he fully deserved the 100 foot lashes he got. How many time does he expect to get away with doing the same thing over & over again? Sooner or later, people just run out of patience & his father is right - he should not get any special treatment at all, just because he is Ebusuud's son - that would not be fair to the rest of the population. He has to be punished.

Nigar Kalfa is my favorite character from the very beginning up to this episode. She was always loyal to her heart. Her love for Ibrahim was tragic, yet beautiful. Ibrahim loved her in his dreamed ordinary world away from the dynasty. Ibrahim woke up from that dream but she didn't. But before Ibrahim died, she said to Esmanur, they would sail on the boat to her mother. And that was heartbreaking. Filiz Ahmet had such a remarkable portrayal to her role. Undeniably amazing artist!

For someone who got promoted to be the head gate guard sure don't spend anytime at the gate. He's always lurking around every corner and in more then one palaces. I already miss Nigar. Didn't like how her story arc turned out in the end. I was routing for her to get back in good grace with Hurrem and hoping she would be reunited with her daughter. The fact that she changed sides and allied herself with Hatice don't make any since what so ever. Only thing I could think of her not liking Hurrem is she believes that Hurrem caused his death. Even though it was his own words that killed him. She should have took that offer Hurrem gave her and went to the ranch way back when she got pregnant.

I loved Nigar so much. Her love was the purest. She never really ask Ibrahim to love her back. I missed her with all the other original casts. They were so good especially Nigar. When Nigar bade farewell to Ibrahim she said: " i have always loved you. And everything that happened to me is because of that love. No matter where i am and who i am with, my heart will always belong here with you." I cried a lot

I really hate what the writers did to Nigar in half of the show. I agree that she was the character that would most likely fall in love with Ibrahim because of her cunning, but her character became all about him since that moment. Before that, you could see her mind in other matters and that's what made her interesting. Though I love this show, I sometimes feel that many female characters are written as if their only trait was loving a man and honestly, there could be seen so much more. I understand that in a harem, power depended on that, but it doesn't mean that's all they could be made of.
