His concerns are selfish. Mustafa was raised by Ibrahim. Suleyman wants to be remembered his way , but he fears Mustafa would ensure Ibrahim was given justice in the future history. He well knows Mustafa would never kill his own family. But , Mustafa is also a genius at making the wrong moves.

I wonder how they all got so old so suddenly. In 1543 when Mihrimah ordered to kill Mehmet, she looked 10 years younger. So did Kapudan Pasha. Now it is 1545-46 i guess (Selinm was appointed to Manisa in 1544), and all of the sudden Mahidevran is an old wreck and Hairettdin Pasha's beard is no longer ginger, but grey😅
