this episode was probably for feeling bad for everyone lol, my heart ached for hurrem, suleyman, mahidevran, leo, matrakci, valide, hatice, nigar, beyhan all of them this day was probably the one where suleyman wished he wasnt the padishah, that his responsibility hadn't put him a dilemma. he set an example as king, the lawgiver as he's known, but failed as a brother. there was no chance he could've been both, he was torn between those two roles. valide too had a hard time, i really felt bad for her, for her to know that these were the last moments she'd she her daughter smiling, that happy. the fact that valide passes away without meeting beyhan hurts more and little did hatice know that every word beyhan said before leaving would come true. poor nigar couldn't escape her thoughts and desires :( poor hurrem loved suleyman but suleyman didnt love her the way she did. she also couldn' get back w leo her first love, she must've felt so stifled leo had to walked around w a broken heart, he couldnt escape the place, the woman that was hurting him the most. he couldnt have her nor could he escape her all the actors did an amazing job depicting the pain, agony, disgust, disbelief and grief. a tear almost slipped down my face 🙌🏼

Hurrem is upset because Sulaiman stayed the night at Hatice palace, it's her fault he had asked her to go with him and she declined by lying(The Theo Mess).If she had went they would have came back together, because if Hatice had asked him to spend the night she would have stayed with Sulaiman because she knew that Sadika was there.

I thought, despite Nigar being a friend of Hurrem, who taught her everything and she was the one who started her Sultana life and very loyal to her, Hurrem disowned her, but here I see how Nigar has never been loyal or trustworthy.. Like Mahidevran rightly said she considers only her own interest.. He is stealthily reading Hurrem's letters and speaks to her sarcastically and is thinking of using this matter later for her own benefits.. She betrayed.. And our Sultana Hurrem is very similar to Sultan Suleiman they both will tolerate everything but not the betrayal.. Since Suleiman had the power he punishes right away and Hurrem Sultana does it when the right time comes in her own way.. Nigar is cunning.. Though I didn't like her ending, her separation with her daughter etc, I understand that she deserved for her own sins.. Poor Esmanur.. She was the one who was caught in between..

◽hurrem was happy to be the one who replaced mahidevran, but when it came to other concubines occupying her position in suleyman's life that didnt sit right with her. i felt bad when mahidevran was neglected by suleyman way before she went ahead with her wrongdoings, but atleast hurrem knows that suleyman loves her, poor mahidevran didnt even have that when she first came to topkapi. ottoman sultan have never been monagamus so questioning suleyman's decision to sleep w other women is vain. the sooner hurrem learns that she can't keep eliminating every concubine, the better it is for her. a monagamus marriage has always been off the table. ◽also the way ibrahim consoled nigar was adorable but its ironic how later on in the series he treats her worse than a slave🙁

Because of Matracki, yes.. BUT it also made him think: “I can do that too, I deserve that also” type of mindset. He thinks of himself as a sultan … thus- his disastrous relationship with Nigar begins soon. 😔

I think the brother in law should have been stripped of everything. All prpoerties and wealth. His sisters children should then be removed from the home and brought under the Sultans care. Exile them both his brother in law and if the sister wants to go with him, then that is a choice she has to make. If the sister loves him that much she has to make sacrifices to the crown.
