However, if you get another group of scholars back in a room to go over all the materials again they may revert back to Ibrahim and Hatice being married as they stated originally. Sadly, this is this problem with older historical documentation when it comes to genealogy. Sometimes it is lacking. In particular it lacks in the Ottoman empire as many of the surviving documentation typically overstate their glory and victories. The reason we know so much about Sultan Suleiman and his family line is we not only have documentation from the Ottoman Empire coupled with archeological support we also have documentation and archeological support from the other countries and areas he conquered. As a matter of fact his reputation was so "Great" that even countries and kingdoms far from reach wrote about Suleiman. They were all terrified that they would eventually be invaded by Suleiman. So, historians take journals and historical documents from all over and cross reference everything having to do with whom other heads of countries met at the Ottoman Empire and their understanding of who was married or coupled with at the time. Many writings had cross referenced Hatice with Ibrahim, however, they had some other documentation that they found elsewhere that they believed were more reliable so that is the only resolution for the switch in theory about Ibrahim and Hatice. Just because you read something on Wikipedia doesn't necessarily make it fact, even though they do a wonderful job. Know that the relationships at the Ottoman Empire were heavily guarded for various reasons. I find the study of the Ottoman Empire fascinating and there are some really good books if you are interested. It explains all of the documents and archeological preservations they have. Hurrem's jewelry and clothing are on display in an exhibition.

@@ralucakitake9250 « Boring « means she has no evil spirit like most of the woomen here, ? always looking for revenge, to make the show « alive » she is never well dressed, neither made up, or wearing lots of jewels.. just a normal sane woman who had to dye to add to the dramas.. She is a good contrast with Strong and most handsome Bali Bey and true love. Hurrem’s is much more power love and extreme jealousy. All the actors game is very well articulated and all of them have a precise plan in the show. For sure we then like more some than others Hats off to Metal Okay for romance war, adventures, dramas, great historical series, soap opera, and of course fabulous actors and actresses even children !
