Everyone is calling Kosem greedy for power... In this drama though, she is not greedy... She has to be strong to stay there to protect her King and her Princes and Princesses... Plus she is good to Osman and Mustafa and others too as much as she can... She hasn't gone out of her way to hurt anyone... Never taken a step of enmity towards anyone unless they took the step first... But she hasn't been stupid enough to give anyone a second chance to fool her again... She was friendly to Humasha too when they first met but Humasha wasn't good to her but plotting, still is plotting... When everyone wants the throne and is plotting against you constantly, you need some form of power to survive... Safiye was ready to destroy her own grandson and then kill him, only because he didn't submit to her power or bow down to her, nothing else... Kosem cannot be compared to Safiye at all... Kosem is as just and kind as you possibly can under the circumstances and fierce and powerful when the situation demands... She would have honestly made a better Sultan than Ahmed because not only is she fierce but also has a very smart brain... All the comments made here are only as per the drama... History is a different story of course...
