I think the princes that were matured enough and had experience of sanjak ruled better than the one who got the throne early age due to sudden demise/murder of their father or brother. Example Suleiman and Selim ruled better Ahmed and Murad were also good but Osman and Ibrahim were really so bad

Cinci has Ibrahim dependent on him through his addiction to whatever that stuff is he is giving him. It looks like some version of milk of poppy (opium). When Ibrahim gets his headaches and starts sweating and shaking, it looks so much like withdrawals. Especially the way he panics at the thought of losing Cinci to the Janissary. As someone who once suffered from chronic debilitating migraines, I can see how any relief in those days could be so valuable that you would throw all caution to the wind in regards to whatever remedy comes your way. It’s sad to see sweet Ibrahim grow into this addict with too much power that he doesn’t know how to carry.
