It always hurts me going back to the earlier episodes where the kids are still kids. Seeing a young Mustafa who was always happy to see his brothers and sister grow without knowing that it they could never be happy so long as Hurrem and Mahidevran were fighting for his father's love and his throne.

Nigar Kalpha hasn't ever taken sides up to this point. She was only trying to teach Hurrem the ways of the harem and how to get along with everyone. Mahidervan just cannot accept that sge is a slave and cocubine like everyone else in the harem and that she lost Suleiman by her own actions. All the woman does is cry and blame everyone for anything that happens to herself!

Mahidevran is just another one of those people who will take everything they can by any means necessary, often losing everything once they reach the end of the road, and when they do, they just cry, rant, and rage about how unfair life is to them, regardless of the choices they made which had gotten them to that point to begin with. She dreamed of having everything in the world, but in the end, she sacrificed everything and ended up worse off than she was at the start of the show, and even then all she did was blame everyone for everything, etc., etc. Mahidevran, “the sultana who was always crying.”

Did they change the child actor just for the terrace scene at 1:07 and brought the original one back in the next scene..🤔
