if i were hurrem,before of my death,i preferred to dispatch suleiman to put bayezid on his trown,bayezid is resembled of suleiman in many ways,but then both of them,preferred selim,and thats the beginning how ottoman empire fall down,if Bayezid was the Sultan,maybe the Persians could not attacked them,same as when suleiman was the Sultan before

@@mdwtkHe might as well have, if you ask me. He was going to hand him over to either Suleiman or Selim, both of which surely meant death for him. Secondly, he might not have been the most levelheaded of all the princes, but he was always honest about his feelings, he was always honest with others, and he was ready to put his own life at risk in order to defend what was his in any situation. A man who will never back down to his enemy, regardless of the odds, is the kind of person you need if you want to make sure your enemies refrain from any funny business and keep enterprising individuals in your court in line and Selim was neither of those. Selim may have had his moments, but let’s be honest, all his brains and cunning really came from Nurbanu, and he was first and foremost a coward from the start, which is why he was not suited for leadership. If your enemies do not respect you nor fear you, they are just going to keep on pushing you around because they know you’re not going to fight back. Having Selim as the heir to the Ottoman throne was one of the worst decisions Suleiman ever could have made throughout his reign and I think history speaks for itself.

The ottoman sultans and the ottoman Sehzades were living a terrible lifes. How hard it was for Suleyman as a father to kill his own son's, they are saying that after he killed Mustafa and his friend Ibrahim he was never the same. And what kind of lives the ottoman Sehzades had, waiting every day for the executioners to come to your room and to strangle you, If they were lucky to survive and become a sultan, he will need to give an order for all of his brothers and nephews to be strangled, that's terrible, they were forced by law to do that, so there will not be internal fighting for the throne, the biggest empires in the world were collapsing because of the internal fightings for the throne, and thousands of innocent people were dying in those wars.

Suleiman destroying everything what really can benefit the ottoman empire... all because one women. He kill the most powerful great vizir, because he cant change her view of him like a puppet or servant, and not a friend. He kill the most capable prince of the empire, all because he listen to Hurrem and not his son One day he dream about be the Caesar of Rome, that dream was destroyed when all of this happened, and he still celebrate a simple victories in Hungary? what a shame of Sultan.
