This is so ridiculous as in real life Mihrimah and Rustem Pasha had a good marriage and he died of brain trauma. I understand the need to fictionalize some historical stuff for the drama but fictionalizing to the point where it is the complete opposite is ridiculous. Folks who don't know Ottoman history would believe this bs. This entire series is bs as it casts real characters in a horrible way. It makes Suleyman look like a womanizer and thirsty for vengeance, His sister was never married to Ibrahim Pasha in real life. It makes Hurrem look borderline paranoid and psychotic which is really the antithesis of who she was. Shame to think that Turkish folks made up this drama. I would have thought it was non-Turkish folks trying to rewrite Ottoman history.

At the time of production of the show it was thought that Hatice married Ibrahim. I looked up some stuff while watching the show cause I was like ain’t no way you break tradition for a woman JUST to commit adultery with every new face that appears 😂
