Suleiman Secretly Listened to Ahmed Pasha | Magnificent Century
"HE COULDN'T BELIEVE HIS EARS!" Magnificent Century Episode 128: • Magnificent Century Ep...
Hürrem blames Suleiman embittering the fight between Selim and Bayezid. As Bayezid chases up the ones who has set a trap for him, Selim gets worried that he'll get disclosed. Suleiman confiscates Mahidevran's wealth because she has supported the revolt. Hürrem brings Selim to account after she learns that he has set the trap for Bayezid. Meanwhile, Fatma plays Nurbanu and Huricihan off against each other and turns the harem upside down. Suleiman orders that Kara Ahmed will be executed since he has taken up the revolt. Someone witnesses Gazanfer's love for Nurbanu that causes to be shed blood. Hürrem takes a vow to not to choose between his sons and chooses her nominee for throne.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Over the course of time, each Grand vizier should realize that while sitting in the diwan hall, the grand vizier sits under the window of the Sultan, which means whatever he says or decision he makes, they are under the guardianship of the Sultan, they should never presume that the decision they make is their own...whatever they do, is silently sanctioned by the Sultan...Rustem understood this, but both Ibrahim and Ahmad Pasha, forgot this, and had to subsequently lose their lives

They still couldnt figure out how the Sultan knows everything everything that goes on in the hall, don't forget, that chamber was built by Suleiman for Hurrem, so she can attend meetings and observe fake people and also make decisions since she was the official adviser to the Sultan in real life, after she died, it was her daughter who took the position and always sit up there

Ahmed also made a wrong decision by antagonizing Hurrem so openly and boasting about his status, such things could never end well, that's why Rustem survived and stayed 15 years in power, he never asked anything from Suleiman and he knew how to pick right words at right time because he feared Suleimans anger (he was also an ally of Hurrem but even with such strong support, he could also loose himself and yet he didn't because he feared the consequences, he hid his emotions and ambitions from public and sultan)

Sure, Ahmed was forced into vizier position but he didn't have to make an enemy out of a queen, why take such risks? So many problems could have been prevented if he thought two steps ahead and didn't voice out loud his intentions

Rustem set him up good. Funny that he thinks his life is safe when it was contingent in his position. Ibrahim's life was vouchsafed while Suleiman was alive and still was not safe in the end. At the end of the day Suleiman's power and rule was absolute and had to be reinforced yet again.

Ibrahim thought that he was the Sultan, Ahmed Pasha wasn't like Ibrahim Pasha. He wanted to help Beyazid, but he had made some mistakes concerning him. After all, he had made taxes over taxes. Let's not compare Ibrahim Pasha to Kara Ahmed Pasha and Lutfi Pasha. There all were Pashas, but all of them had done different mistakes.

It's like he has no sense of awareness. Don't go around saying you ruled for 2 years, because such a power was delegated to you from somewhere 😰 and don't call the Padishah's daughter "a woman" and please stop boasting about your safety net 😭😭 The Divan is inside the Palace that Sultan Suleiman goes to, keep your mouth shut if you're not in your own house 🏠 man! You ever hear the saying "these walls have ears to hear and mouths to speak" ?! 🤷🏽‍♀️💀💀💀 Not only that, you literally ousted yourself by being upset and defensive that someone who serves looked into a matter brought to them. Now the suspicion is there and the trust is all about lost if you're doing anything suspicious 😔 or a piece of evidence does not add up. Like DANG
