To watch Episode 20: • Magnificent Century: K...
Derviş's death shocks everyone. Handan, on the other hand, is very shaken after the death of Derviş Pasha. Halime Sultan, on the other hand, threatens to tell everyone about this forbidden love between Derviş and Handan. After the death of Derviş Pasha, he became the vizier Kuyucu Murad Pasha. Sultan Ahmed is shocked after what he learns. Handan, on the other hand, puts an incredible end to all this, and this hurts Ahmed a lot. Hümaşah Sultan learns that her brother is İskender, but is hesitant to tell her mother. Kösem Sultan and Ahmed are falling apart. Ahmed, wanting to get away from everything, goes to Edirne and leaves it to Hümaşah Sultan to manage the harem. Hümaşah imposes such rules that everyone, especially Kösem, is very uncomfortable. After all that has happened, Ahmed risks his life without thinking. Kösem Sultan, while longing for Ahmed, decides to go to him at the expense of breaking all the rules. But Kösem's journey does not end well, and Kösem cannot be found anywhere!
All hope is lost for Handan when it is discovered that Ahmed has smallpox. Safiye Sultan, on the other hand, made an agreement with Halime to put Prince Mustafa on the throne without wasting any time. The day Halime has been waiting for has finally arrived.
With Prince Mustafa getting sick, the dynasty is in danger of extinction. Safiye is devastated when she learns that Fahriye caused this crisis. Safiye, who is cornered, makes a surprise move and announces her new candidate for the throne.
With the spread of the disease news, the city returns to the fire place. The people of the palace are face to face with death. In this difficult test, Anastasia sees Safiye's true face for the first time. It's time for Anastasia to take control of fate!
Magnificent Century: Kosem is about Kosem Sultan married to the "State-i Aliyya", when her six-year-old son ascended to the throne, having the position of "Regent of the Sultanate", as well as the power gained by defeating all her enemies and becoming a sultan who brought the world to her knees with her regency. The power of Kosem Sultan became the greatest authority of the state through Murad IV, will be shaken by the iron fist of Sultan Murad, who wants to seize power. With his determination and might, Murad will give the Ottoman Empire its strongest period after Suleiman the Magnificent. The defeats of the state inside and outside will close the era.

@@deedaal-azahar643 Safiye took her baby from his cradle. An infant who is harmless. Safiye meant the baby no harm at that point yes. But the threat was explicit: 'Look how easily I can harn your child'. I do not condone a lot of the things Kosem did later on. But as a mother if someone picked my baby and sent me into such fear and horror, I too would be livid and unforgiving. Safiye threatened Kosem's baby. In return Kosem retaliated and she told Safiye to her face that Fahriye had been targeted because Safiye threatened her child. Let's be fair, that time Kosem didn't throw the first stone then. She let Fahriye be until Safiye took Mehmed. Also Fahriye is no saint. She attempted to murder Ahmed and Mustafa in one go just for her lover. Then she runs to escape her punishment. Really??

@@bernimunro1299no. I saw Hürrem hand them off to other people every time something more exciting, like her games and palace intrigues, or Süleyman rolled into the room. A woman should care about her children first, then her mate, not the other way around. If Süleyman said jump, Hürrem was asking “how high my Sultan of all Sultans, lover of my body and soul? How high shall your lover, your slave, Hürrem jump for thee?” 😂 Hürrem should’ve gone with at least one of her sons to their sanjack, but some other Hatun might get some from that husband of hers and she wasn’t having any of that. Plus, her lies would’ve been revealed if she left his side. He would’ve had to think for himself for a change. The man had already killed off his best thinker, Ibrahim, because instead of dispelling his paranoia, Hürrem flamed the fans of it. I love Kosem, but I can’t stand Hürrem. I just can’t.

Sultan Suleiman executed the most closest person (Ibrahim) to him with respect - silently, no shouting, no embarrassing Unlike Sultan Ahmed. Immature, dull and naive Really feel sorry for Dervish
@persephone342
@persephone342 10 ай бұрын
Süleyman went to everyone looking for a way out of executing Ibrahim. He made the man un-executable under the law, plus he swore he would never execute or have him executed, and declared this to witnesses as well. 3 times he swore to Ibrahim, before God, the Law, and Witnesses- no edom. In order to get a fatwa for Ibrahim’s execution, he had to consult the lead Judge of Istanbul for president and religious cause. The only work around was Süleyman had to be “not of the Earthly realm” during the execution. This means that he technically could not issue the law for Ibrahim’s execution either as it would violate his sworn oath. That’s why the judge reviewed the case, a declared execution is the only way. Next, Süleyman had to be asleep. Since your soul leaves your earthly body during sleep, you are no longer tethered to this realm and it’s laws or oaths. He could not wake up during the execution either, or he’d have to stop it in accordance with his oath to Ibrahim. That’s all historical too. Makes you wonder why he took such care to protect Ibrahim from none other than himself? Was he so envious of his best friend that he feared he would succumb to killing him out of jealousy? If my bro had betrayed me by committing treason, I wouldn’t have hesitated to behead him. It’s as simple as that. I wouldn’t have needed all the guard rails in place. However, if I resented Ibrahim, but loved him as my brother, but was also extremely jealous of him, I might need all of those things to stop me from losing myself in the heat of a fit of jealous rage. If I have Ibrahim all that power, then I obviously trusted him. If I put up hinderance that kept me from doing my duty, then it’s me I don’t trust. I don’t believe Ibrahim betrayed him irl. He might of been a boaster, or took liberties, but I don’t think he committed treason against the Sultan. Süleyman carried on in his poems about the man for the rest of his life, so he obviously regretted killing Ibrahim. You don’t regret executing a traitor. You might hate that you had to do it, but you don’t regret it or write poems to a traitor.

Even though I think that whoever wrote this, and directed this stinks, it was beyond stupid and pathetic that Ahmed killed his father figure, Dervish. Dervish killed Ahmed’s father because he didn’t trust the idiot. How cruel and what imbeciles exist among supposed nobility; politicians and rulers all over the world-especially in those times. Ahmed was stupid in many ways and if this is a reflection of a similar story, then his life after that, went down hill.

Everyone loves Kosem, but she thinks she’s the power behind everything. If she would have left the secret that Dervish and Ahmed’s mother alone, they would still be alive. That secret should have stayed secret, but no, others exploited it due to the morality issue. One has to think if morality is above human life. Sad and tragic to see that in this case, human life is only valid if one upholds morality. Of course if the secret would have been kept, Dervish would never have taken steps to try to kill those three in question.

I just hate him an kosem....may they both get an awful life

Nahhhhh,i don't like Kosem, she's arrogant af, Y'all want to say Hurrem did the same but Hurrem was at least held accountable for her actions by Suleiman,he never allowed her to go unpunished when it came to things and even though he loved her,he never allowed her to disrespect dynasty members. Safiye's rage was validated,she only did those things to Kosem because she betrayed her. I unfortunately got spoilers from this so in my opinion in terms of the drama,her death and the way it was carried out was validated. Kosem literally had the favour of so many people and that's why she is where she is. Unlike her predecessors, who literally had to work so hard to get where they were. Hurrem never put her children against each other and everyone hated her so much,she suffered wayyy more than Kosem and yet i don't understand how anyone can justify Kosem acts. She's a huge hypocrite

Kosem was truly virtuous. This is why she had everyone’s favor. It’s not about how hard you fight, it’s about how you treat other people. Hurrem wasn’t nice to others and she didn’t care about their feelings either. She used them for her games and tossed them like garbage when she was done. Nobody respects that type of person. Kosem earned the love of her people by doing a lot for them. Nurbanu also took care of her people too. You don’t sacrifice every person working for you just to burn another woman. That’s pathetic.
@NaheedaC
@NaheedaC 10 ай бұрын
@@persephone342 Virtuous is a strong word for a woman who murdered her own son and threatened to dethrone her grandson. It's low-key funny how you want to talk about sacrificing to,"burn another woman" yet Kösem voluntarily did the same to two of her predecessors that being,Handan and Safiye even though Safiye treated her with dignity and respect. It's also curious that you make mention of Nurbanu when she spent her whole life trying to ruin Safiye's life and even separated her from her husband on the accounts of Witchcraft. That doesn't at all sound like the most perfect woman to me and if we're also basing this on history. Kösem tried to get rid of Turhan because of her influence because she saw it as a challenge. How is Turhan's efforts any less than that of Kösem or another example,How is Hürrem's efforts more evil when she only lived to protect her family? Clearly we weren't watching the same show because I remember quite frankly how much Hürrem endured when Mahidevran constantly abused her power and Hürrem's actions to "burn another woman" were justified because the same vile woman openly said and I quote,"No, there's no death for you,not until you witness the death of your children" So yeah 🤷🏻‍♀️
@NaheedaC
@NaheedaC 10 ай бұрын
@@persephone342 And also like many people back in Hürrem's time,you close your mind off to the fact that she herself was a pioneer during Suleiman's reign, people hated her because she was the first woman to be respected,loved and cherished by her husband and the fact that she was given so much power AS A WOMAN. So yeah,babe, Hürrem would've been hated either way because she was the first of her kind and so was Safiye because she surmounted so much of wealth and influence despite not being a dynasty member which was unheard of and of course because of precious Nurbanu's accusations against her,she would obviously still have a stigma attached to her✌🏻🥴
