I'm mostly into old school punk rock, especially early-mid 80s, but I do like me _some_ modern hardcore. Magnitude is playing tonight in Dallas (6/15) so I'm listening to this epicness trying to decide to go or not. I don't like the hardcore dance & beatdown shit but I only get into punk rock pits anyway so that's not a deal breaker. This music is so good, but I got stuff to do. That means I'll probably go. Great music!

This genre may be originated back in 1980' and 1990-s and we give the credit to it's pioneers, but good poilished production where everything is tight is what we needed to hear. This is how it should sound in the first place, because on many early albums instrument miss each other for some miliseconds which takes avay some groove and power from sound, though you migh like songs and riffs. And here everything just synchronized in production. It's 90's metalcore, but it's done really well and what the hell else do you want?
