Why people make it seem like Houston music scene was only hot in 2005? Houston music scene been on and running since the late 80s-early 90s especially with Rap-A-Lot and Suavehouse Records eras.

@@keenanhadnot5764 We was in the magazines back in the 90s like Source, XXL and Rap Pages. They use to promote the albums in ads in those magazines. Screw got interviewed around 96-97.

i think cats tried to understably go around J. prince cuz of what they heard about em. but i think his knowledge and backing woulda prolonged dudes who jus had talent and no real plan to really blow. SUC, swishahouse, and rapalot. neeeeeeeever really unified. how it woulda happened? i don’t know. but they never got in the same car. i think thts what the city was missin. RAL had the muscle and experience, SUC had the culture, swishahouse had the youth
