These sessions are great viewing - thanks for sharing. I do notice from this series a very different clash in styles. Daniil gets his pieces active much earlier whereas Magnus seems to keep his on the back rank a little longer.

I don't think that's a general question of styles. Carlsen simply doesn't make as much opening preparation for a blitz game. As Dubov is a natural genius in opening theory he doesn't really need to prepare even for something casual like this. In general I don't think anyone could accuse Carlsen of playing passively.
