I personally love the saviors. Negan basically rules as a medieval dictator using fear to keep everyone in line. I would love a backstory on how they were formed and how they got so powerful.

I completely agree with the Saviour rant. Woodbury residents felt like actual people just trying to survive while being seduced by a psycho. It’s way more realistic that normal every day people got tricked into doing some morally grey stuff for the sake of survival but are still not quite evil. The Saviours minus a few were just generic bad guys. 80% of them were just evil or just assholes and their deaths had no meaning. They did have a few sympathetic characters whom could’ve been interesting but the ratio is one decent man to every 100 Saviours who can’t be redeemed. Negan is cool but I don’t realistically buy that no one at least attempted to revolt against him (bar Simon who’s just power hungry and Dwight). Hundreds of Saviours were treated like slaves by one man and they all didn’t just kill him and take over so they didn’t have to bow to him or give up their wives. They were contempt with everything and it didn’t feel grounded like Woodbury were and everyone at the Sanctuary didn’t feel like your everyday people who were actually once normal. I can accept other groups like the Whisperers or the Wolves not having the most grounded group of people but that’s because they are established as cults and are all completely deranged. They have all lost their sanities unlike Negan who seems like just a typical bully at first.

And also like you said, it was a big deal when someone died at Woodbury. One random extra could get killed but the Governor would make note of that and instantly try plotting his revenge. With the Saviours, 20 of them could get mowed down and nobody gave a shit. Ngl when Carol killed that random Saviour pack in s6 when she went off on her own I didn’t even realise they were apart of the Saviours and thought they were just a random group at first. That’s how insignificant they were. The battles were terrible in s8 and it was only dozens of Saviours who were dropping like flies but infinite plot armour from the group. Rick stood open in the middle of the battlefield with random Saviours scattered all over but he didn’t get shot once. Battles were way better choreographed before s7 and s8.

Awesome video as usual man! And I do the exact same thing by watching everything subtitle now because it really does make such a difference and I’ve picked up on so many things that I never realized while watching the show without the subtitles. The subtitles pick up background conversations that I didn’t even know were happening before. They do make occasional mistakes like calling Ethan Nathan, and some other small mistakes but for the most part, the subtitles are on point and they make the show so much better.

To cover the other villains: Whisperers were S tier for me which is an unpopular opinion. I hated s10 bc the plot armour was too high and literally no one died in this arc. How tf is Siddiq the saddest death of the season? That’s how minuscule the stakes actually were. They could’ve killed off someone big at least instead of all the fake outs. Carol would be best choice (I would’ve killed her off earlier but with what cast there was in s10 then it would be her). Magna, Luke, Luke’s girl (forgot her name), Scott, and even Lydia. With Alpha and Henry dead, Lydia serves no other purpose so have her also be a sacrifice. Anyways I got sidetracked, the Whisperers were scary so I like them. Alpha and Negan carried s11 imo but yh it was still trash. I can’t fault the group as a whole so they still are goated but the writing was awful. Commonwealth were okay. They had good ideas but poor execution. Don’t build up Lance just to give him a lame death and make Pamela the main villain. Sebastian was alright I guess. He could’ve done more but I’m not mad at it. Carlson could’ve been a good 2nd antagonist and he had a cool backstory of being CIA (something the show had never explored excluding Daniel). The soldiers were too weak and they should’ve all been badasses. Silly how bad the soldiers actually were at doing their jobs. Anyways, they were just meh after all of that suspense for me but I liked the ideas the show had before they decided to ruin it. Ideas early on 9/10 but overall execution like a 5/10 (that’s me being generous).

In terms of the whole Reaper thing. Remove Carver and Leah and merge them both into Pope and then you have a good villain. How was he the main villain of that arc and also the least coolest in his own group. Get rid of the Daryl and Leah story. Make Pope do more in his own arc and he can be the badass villain who takes on 3 people at once. They should’ve removed the whole walkers at Alexandria plot and instead merge the Reapers together with everything and have them attack Alexandria. Kill off a lot of extras and cut down like around maybe 60-70% of the group so by the time the Reapers are finished it’s only a small amount of people still alive so they are even more desperate. The Commonwealth comes in and saves the group bc they are powerless against the Reapers. Mercer can show himself to be an even bigger badass and we see him take on trained mercenaries by himself. In this arc it can be major high stakes, and I would also kill off Elijah whom serves us nothing in the Commonwealth arc and I would also kill off Gabriel. It makes sense when you think about it as this is a religious cult and Gabriel is a pastor. Give him a great final arc of him infiltrating the Reapers and gaining their trust while stabbing them in the back (doing what he does best). He reduces their numbers slightly but this is enough to help the group in the war. Eventually, Pope can have brain cells and figure out Gabe is a hero and stab him for it. Daryl can do what Gabe is doing and he won’t be infiltrating. Alden can survive and he will be the moral compass to Maggie and they get a happy ending. Elijah would just get a little backstory of being a former Reaper and Pope kills his sister so he joins Meridian. He’s a badass and less of a cry baby but he can’t get his own revenge but he sacrifices himself and Maggie gets angry and she can be the one to put down Pope. 6-7 episode arc and it can tie in to the Commonwealth so it’s not a pointless arc and it can actually serve meaning to the overall story of s11. That’s the end of my rant/rewrite/whatever. I don’t expect anyone to care enough to read this but if you do then I hope it wasn’t a waste of your time. Enjoy.

Fear from s1-3: - National guard wasn’t the best imo. I liked their presence in the show but they were also too incompetent. If they could’ve made the military less stupid but still sort of reach that same conclusion then I’d be fine with it. Do what they did but be more smart about it if that makes sense. They had a scorched earth thing but was also trying to save the sick and wounded. It didn’t make much sense but at the time it was a new thing and the writers were slowly finding their groove. - The pirates were okay but maybe not 2 episodes of them. Jack was trash and Alex just ended up not doing anything relevant story wise. I’m 50 50 on if she should’ve become a part of the main cast but I didn’t like them setting her up but then she just randomly pops up with the pirates. - I actually quite liked the Celia stuff and thought that they were pretty good. I was shocked that Nick fully abandoned his family over a dead stranger but it made for a good narrative. I still sort of like all that. Yh. - Brandon’s group got the most satisfying deaths in the whole universe so I quite like them as a whole. Not nearly as interesting as the Claimers or the Hunters but their deaths were cool. Travis was a badass that episode and he became my favourite character that season. Shame how he went out. - The Cartel drug trader guys were cool. They were kinda scary but just alright. I don’t really know why they traded quite valuable resources over drugs but wtv. Their deaths were quite cool but at the same time I also think they could’ve been kept alive for later. They didn’t have to be in s3 but like have a few of them survive and have them be maybe apart of Madison’s new empire after taking down the Proctors. I’m not so sure of this idea but it’s on my maybe list. Killing them off was probably for the best but I also think maybe keep them still alive somewhere but just not a part of the main story. They continue their business and the characters never interact with them again bc they don’t have to. Realistic in an apocalypse scenario bc not every bad guy died when meeting the protagonists, they just move on and nobody cares. - Troy’s ranch was amazing and the Indians were pretty good as well. No faults there. The dam people were cool. That guy seemed like quite an interesting villain since he’s a business man in the apocalypse but he served his purpose enough. - The Proctors were super interesting and I loved when they showed up. I wish they were in s4 instead of those weirdos and they were actually Saviour level threat. For what we saw of them, I think they are S tier and that is a big stretch but yh.
@HenzoW-cf3mh18 күн бұрын
Yh with the trader guys, have Madison at the end of s4 start trading resources with them but then she betrays them and steals everything from them. Madison just doing villainy things for no absolute reason and create another unnecessary war. I think that could work in some alternative universe, not every community has to fall.

19:10.What about the ones in all out war where carol encountering the ones with machine guns and aaron and eric and others encountering.But they just got manipulated by negan amd his fearful rules that kept the saviours alive. Yes s8 was delay as due to eugene loyalty to negan and sheer loss of kingdom's people.The reason negan killing one of every group is to make them fear.Also negan knew the oceanside massacre at s8. Anyways ❤ your video

I watch your videos and what made you stand out is you thought of ideas that NO other channel did. Like this. Every villain in universe. Or Adrienne, the last unidentified Oceanside member for example. You thought of interesting ideas and that’s what separate you apart the others. But i’m very surprised you have now just reached 5K when you made more than 2K videos. If i can make suggestions, i know you made a script or key points but you made a point of something but the way you explain is so uninteresting. Since you don’t care of the duration, you can really improve by shortening but keep the thoughts that would surprise us. I honestly think a change could also benefit the channel. Make it modern than the usual ranking system like this. Maybe make it a singular show of every villain you want to showcase, photo display or video with no sound and after everything is done, show the table. Or just make a poll of how people would be more interested in your videos. I really think you could grew more if you make it more modern and not talkative based commentary.
@MagnusRobert17 күн бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion, yes that would improve my growth and my channel but the trouble is i don’t have the time to do that. I hit record on the tier videos and upload them so I don’t spent much more time on the video than the videos length. I have some proper edited videos in the works but they’ll take a lot of time.

I’m once again in the vast minority here but I love the Highwaymen, especially Ozzy but they were just criminally wasted. And you were talking about how the Hilltop battle was garbage (as was season 10) and I’m glad I finally 100% agree with you on something lol 😂 but speaking of have you ranked all of the battles yet?

Completely agree agree with your ranking of Woodbury as the Governor is a better villain than Negan, and Merle is the 🐐 but also the Claimers, could see myself in a group like that in the zombie apocalypse minus the Carl sa crap and grape shit, just a bunch of outdoorsmen claiming shit

The whisperers are genuinely the dumbest concept to ever come up with in the entirety of a zombie apocalypse You really mean to tell me that a Halloween costume can magically make you avoidant to an entire apocolypse that wiped out an army? Nah dude. If anyone wrote the script for that, they need to quit their jobs. It’s so EMBARRASSINGLY unrealistic it’s pathetic.
