There's also a massive disparity between the decks. Magus is like 600$, Jhoira 300$, Rith 600$, then fucking Ur-Dragon at 6k$ That's insane. But I've played with enough Ur-dragon players to know that for some reason those players LOOOOVE to crush with their wallet.

I think we can all learn from Andrew's mistake. I did the same thing at my local LGS months ago. We already know if a card is very powerful, we should not let an opponent benefit from it.

Lots of people complaining about price disparity here re the Ur Dragon deck need to realise it wasn’t the duals that won the game, it was the fact that no decks had answers to all the fliers. Magus was stuck with all gas and no payoff (including a huge mana whiff off mana drain which I’m sure felt bad) and Jhoira is typically very much a cheerio until you win type deal. Sometimes a deck builds a board and there’s no board wipe and you lose. That’s magic baby.

I have an ur dragon deck. Copper dragon can absolutely win games. Even if it attacked once and gets removed.

Very unfortunate showing from the Magus deck, and the reason my Magus deck is a creature based one, as almost every creature can draw with ravenous triggers multiple times and puts threats out with tempo. Having all that mana and never even tapping magus once is so depressing to see

Fred's deck is like everything I hate about edh in one color of sleeve. eminence, p2w, uninteresting play patterns. Different strokes for different folks but if someone came to my table with that I'd leave.

Why are so many of you people commenting this kind of stuff without actually thinking? Fred could have shocks in his deck over duals and the game still would have been his with 0 changes. Any damage he would receive from them would just get out healed by dragonlord dramoka. If this is what your idea of power level disparity is then theres an issue.
