Asanam thats shown in video is made out of sheep skin which can purchased online in any country. Sri Matre namah

@naveenraj kumar Deer and tiger skin are extracted through harmful means and are not legal anymore in various countries. Sheep skin is the closest we can get to using animal skin for asanam in current times as its extracted through unharmful shearing process which is also the source for woolen fabrics. Namaste

We follow kalpasutra. Short demonstration on counting fours at 2:03 is only a tip I devised to aid our devotees who asked for help in counting four times while doing tarpanam. 12 times tarpanam for moola mantra = 12 4 times tarpanam for each of 28 beejas in moola mantra, followed by 4 times moola mantra tarpanam = 28x2x4= 224 4 times tarpanam for each of 13 pair of dieties, , followed by 4 times moola mantra tarpanam = 26x2x4= 208 Total 444

Which day we can start doing ganapati tharpanam and which time is favourable for that ??

It would be beneficial to start on Shukla Chaturti (4th day of waxing moon cycle) but please seek your Guru's advice on it.
