I haven't been more excited for a new set since we went back to Zendikar (BFZ was one of my first sets). (Kamigawa is another favorite set but I didn't realize how much I liked it until I found out it was the best draft set in a while.) Maha was one of my favorite cards during spoiler season (in large part because the field guide art is insanely cool). Can't wait for the inevitable Brawl Stars!

kamigawa was awesome, for sure. that and dominaria have been my 2 favorite draft sets in the past ~2-3 years.

Both Blacksmith's and Bandit's talents did a lot of work in these matches, huh? Bandit's talent reminds me of a Shrieking Affliction deck I tried to brew long long ago that I might try to put back together now that it's easier to make it more flavorful (specially with Deepcavern bats). Great games, excellent commentary and fun times as usual

Both of them seem like they generate a lot of value, and give you something to do with extra mana on what might otherwise be an off turn

Baylen is giving me huge wins actually. A bunch of Food and Treasure with token doublers means that is you make it to turn 5 you're invincible. The funny thing is that it almost plays out like a combo deck with the White identity mostly giving the removal pieces to let you get your critical mass on board.
