This tragedy is symptomatic of the confusion that exists in most departments of the government, like education, land records, judiciary and so on. The disaster was clearly visible here. But in departments of government the effect of mismanagement is the endless suffering of the common man. But hardly anyone bothers to take planning seriously so that systems are improved.

Population in india is out of control. When you have such a massive gathering of people this is bound to happen. There could have been phases where only a set number of people were allowed in at any given time. There should have been proper planning. There is no excuse for this kind of negligence. The government and authorities are accountable for these deaths and injuries.
