I had a Safari Dicor 2.2 GX first and then bought an XUV500 W6 later just for the features.. and my family still loves the safari for its space, AC and view outside etc.. nothing else mattered to them after a few months of usage.. I had to sell my safari after an accident and believe me the build quality is like a tank.. Vehicle totalled but all passengers safe.. Once a Safari fan always a Safari fan :)

I own a preowned Safari Dicor. This is my second Safari. The first one met with an accident and sold to scrapyard. Nobody stops a Safari on the road. Police ko chodo, army bhi nahin rokti. I was never stopped on any onroad check post in the last 6 years. That's the foremost quality of a Safari. Scorpio can't do that. That explains the whole story.

Yes i am a Safari fan. Just loved the varicor 400 engine and the "Own the road feeling". But then the Hexa varicor 400 just did the left over job. Bcoz of the space and the sitting arrangement in it. Pity the Hexa was competed against the Innova which wasn't fair, so it couldn't sustain the battle. But actually the Hexa is an SUV monster with the 4x4 drive and the body on frame X2 platform. Innova just poops in its pants. Holy God the varicor 400 engine is a bliss and it should be tweaked and reintroduced with a better Tata product. Would love to see that engine in Harrier 3rd generation though :) fingers crossed.

When i was in school, i saw the advertisement of Safari with tag line Make your own road. That tag line itself a unique character of safari. I love the character line of the suv and the presence is like you really own the road. The ride quality and the cooling of AC, no suv till now will match on this segment.
