@@Rishab1234-l2u Dhritarastra was never official king of Hastinapur. Uska kavi Rajyaabhisek hi nahi huwa. He was just a part time unofficial king until a new official king take birth because Pandu went Vanvas, Bhisma was Brahmachari, Pandavas were not born neither were Kauravas. After they were born, this was the fight for who will be the official king but according to dharma sastras it was evident that Yudhithira should be King coz his father Pandu was a official king and also He was the eldest among Kauravas and Pandavas too. But Duryodhana didn't agree with him due to which a Dharma War broke out. Another main cause was Draupadi Cheerharan too.
