A Hindu woman's wifehood is symbolized via her Gold wedding jewelries (nose ring or 'phuli' earings or 'Jhumkas', 'mangalsutra' or nuptial chain, marital necklace or haar, 'manga tikha' (a little piece of jewelry ornating a wife's forehead), 'sindoor' or 'kumkum' or vermillon, 'bindi' or nuptial dot, arm jewelries or bangals known as 'bhuj ban', bangals or 'churis', wedding ring, 'maha var' or red color drawings on palms, forehead and feet, waist necklace, anklets or 'payals', foot rings, red color, make up and dark black hair (and sometimes marital or other forms of beautiful hairstyles)).
