I am 60 years old and I was a teenager the last time I literally liked every song on an album... I have never heard a Mahalia song that didn't become a favorite. You don't put a Mahalia song on repeat, you put her whole catalog on repeat. She just seems so authentic. It's like you can tell that she is genuinely enjoying herself. She's creative and scientific like all the greatest artist. I can listen to her like a delicious meal that you can eat and eat and never get full and the more you eat the greater your appetite. She is on loop in our house booming through all rooms on Sonos. Me and my two nieces aged 11 and 8 be singing her getting ready in the shower and on every single car journey. Her album was our go to cheer up vibe after having an awful 2019, I lost my Mum and they lost their grandma. Music and especially this album helped us through and is helping us heal. Music helps the heart ❤️
