The clueless Mahama and the NDC want to remove taxes but have no idea where they will get revenue to replace the tax cuts. Ghanaians should tightened their belts for it’s going to be very bumpy economy under Mahama.

High import duties affects everyone and everything. That is the first and the most important thing to look at. You don't need to discourage imports to increase export bcs for every export there is an import component. If locally produce products are not affordable locally they will not be competitive in the international market.

Spoken like a clueless NDC. Do you know how long it takes to grow local industries? Akufo-Addo started the basic foundation for development but the NDC told lies to impatient Ghanaians. High import duties technically should spur local industries but that takes time. Mahama has told Ghanaians that he’s a magician who can build industries in 4 years!
