Is that MTN or Telecel they're using? In fact, this has been one of the problems Ghanaians have suffered for long now, poor internet. This government should call for new telcos companies to come to Ghana.

Ghana needs a liberal economist linked to the Austrian school like Javier Milei from Argentina, someone who follows the advice of Milton Friedman, a Chicago Boys kzbin.info/www/bejne/nqOUqI1rYrt5f8Usi=OOceARbh1OCPXqh4
@rositascarborough575115 күн бұрын
Wrong. Ghana needs a disciple of the late great George Ayiteey. A competent and astute economist with a broad grasp of AFRICAN centered political economy and thought not a mentally colonized drone. We've had 70 years of that already. At this rate just hire a Chinese or Singaporean economist and get to work if our people are not up to the task. Ato Forson has just confirmed he will seek more funding from the IMF. Predictable.
@altentic861615 күн бұрын
@rositascarborough5751 ... For your information, Argentina's currency appreciated 44% in just one year of Javier Milei's government... you need to understand that financial management has nothing to do with colonialism, as even the Chinese and others from Singapore learned economic concepts in US universities... that's why African countries never develop, because they are left with this childish attitude that the capitalist free market is a white man's thing...😂

Milton Friedman offered an easy solution that would get rid of a huge chunk of debt with no cost to the tax payer. 1. Print money and buy up all the bonds from banks and other financial institutions. 2. Raise the reserve requirements to 100% and use window guidance to control the out flow of the newly created money to avoid inflation. 3. Make sure lending only goes to productive ventures to grow GDP as BBE provided as an example of debt management. 4. The money you would've used to make interest payments on bonds can be used to quickly finish paying off other loans in circulation and later fill the deficit. This can be done easily but private banks are making big money off this system so they'd never allow it Ghanaian tax payers will always pay for this never ending debt 😢.

@@rositascarborough5751 Given our current constraints and imperatives, is funding not required and if we can negotiate terms why not the IMF?
@altentic861615 күн бұрын
@@AYTM1200.. I agree,.. when the concepts of Milton Friedman and Edmund Burkye are applied, the result is an improvement in the national business environment due to the downsizing of the public sector.. in this way, with a more efficient state focused on what really matters, letting the private sector plays its role... we saw this in Singapore, Taiwan, Australia and in all first world countries. It's not about ideology, it's about economic concepts and laws
