Let us not forget of what Carlos Yulo have given to us Filipinos. Understandably this is social media and each has their own viewpoint of the Yulo family's ongoing drama. Things have escalated because of the mom's careless act and all evidence are there to support such arguments. As parent myself, I strongly understand parents are always there to support and guide our children no matter what. In this generation kids are known to be pasaway. They are rebelious and elusive but doesn't mean we have give up on them. Kids will always make drastic decisions in life and that is part of growing up. Sa kaso ni mother yulo, she lacks understanding, patience, and support sa anak niya. Given she doesn't like her son's gf at all, di tama na ipahiya mo ang iyong anak sa social media ng ganun ganun na lang. She made everything worst. Di ba masakit sa loob niya na puro insulto at pamamahiya ang inaabot ng anak niya? Kung ako ang magulang di ko hahayaan na basta na lang gawin yan sa anak ko. I will protect my child to the bitter end. Even if my child is worst of a kind di ko susukuhan ito dahil mahal ko siya unconditionally. But Caloy isn't that kind of a child. He loves god, his people, and his family regardless of what other people think. The 2 gold medals he earned show that the kid has high morals and discipline like no other. We filipinos owed him that much. Moving forward, I know that he is destined to farther greatness in his field of sport. God bless and more power to him.

Exactly. He is staying silent because anything he says will be attacked and frenzied by the media at this point. It’s a lost cause. It’s clear his family will never accept the person he loves and that’s their problem. Despite how the public and his mother disapproves of Chloe, to Carlos she’s the one factor in his life that he wishes to gift to himself since he has given his youth to gymnastics and all that he earned before the Olympics to his family. He has the right to choose who to love. If it turns out she’s an opportunist, then let him learn his mistake on his own. What Carlos is doing is called “Gray Rock” - meaning not reacting or responding to a toxic situation especially in narcissistic ones. He is under psychological monitoring and it’s an approach that therapists advise. People and the media need to stop escalating the continued hate and if his family actually loves him, they will stop actions that encourage and feed the media frenzy. He is not asking for the 11 million his mother took, but is firm that he will not tolerate their disrespect to the person he loves. All these people wishing for him to suffer and fail are themselves in the wrong in their entitlement to spreading hate in a family matter that Carlos’ mother should have kept private. We have no right to be giving unsolicited advice, pintas, or banta. The public has overstepped in their involvement. Let it go.
