It's today that I have known about mahatma Gandhi,Bapu of India since I was born in 1998 but am so glad to listen to one of the most intelligent people the world has ever had throughout it's history and I have learnt from his quotes where he said that "I cannot let anyone to walk through my mind with dirty feet", and the other one where he said "live as if you were to die tomorrow and learn as if you were to live forever" I love you all from Uganda 🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬

I'm extremely proud to be born in the country where the Mahatama was born. Today, 152 years have passed since this great man was born in the city of Porbandar, and almost 74 years since he passed away in Delhi. We must act on the ideals of Gandhi and strive to make India a nonviolent, pacifist, self-dependent and truthful, as well as transparent state. Only then the country can grow to heights above and beyond.

Gandhi revolutionized the means of revolution by " ahimsa". He had a splendid ideology and always worked according to it , though the others could not understand the essence of Gandhi's philosophy. He was like the broad "skeleton" of Indian national movement and still, even after six decades of freedom he remains as the " core" of India. The explicit and enormous economic growth which India gained during the past decade, originated as a result of that. In my opinion, this is simply amazing

The easy way for all of us is to take the path of violence but it takes more courage to face your adversary and fight not by violence but by ahimsa. They were the outflow of the heart's blood of one of the greatest sons of God, who have ever come to this world of ours; words which came as the fruit of realisation, from a man who had felt and realised God Himself; who had spoken with God, lived with God, a hundred times more intensely, than you or I see this building. @carnivourlocust but what i dont understand is what is there to find out ? I agree with you guys, but i mean how do we know ? Where do we find this if it's not from people like ghandi that might not give us the most accurate information in the world, but at least he gives us something to believe in when everything else is gone.

#. God is still established upon His own majestic changeless Self. You and I try to be one with Him, but plant ourselves upon Nature, upon the trifles of daily life, on money, on fame, on human love and all these changing forms in Nature which make for bondage.

“Peace cannot be built on exclusivism, absolutism, and intolerance. But neither can it be built on vague liberal slogans and pious programs gestated in the smoke of confabulation. There can be no peace on earth without the kind of inner change that brings man back to his "right mind." p. 31” ― Thomas Merton, Gandhi on Non-Violence

@GenieDx yes I know my friend you have a point. but what I meant was that we need more people with courage like Gandhi. we should free ourselves from the prisons of our everyday and not be afraid of death. to live free, to express yourself. not in the selfish kind of manner but in the way that all the humanity will rise from its knees. we should stop worshiping money and live in today, not plan to live for 80 years and do daily feasting. this has to change collectively, for one alone will fail!
