Yeah, back in 2005 I loved to PK but sometimes I wouldn't because I was scared of the pures. Pures with good stats were much less common back then and many people would PK with accounts that were not specifically designed for pking. This made PKing much more enjoyable (IMO) and made having a good pure account much more valuable at the time.

I remember being like 8 and exploring the wild with a dragon dagger poison and someone with a d long attacked me and skulled and I specd and he almost died but got away and I was so bummed out. Then next thing you know the poison damage hit him and he dropped and I got the dragon longsword. I was still a noob and didn't know poison damage was a thing and it was how I got my first ever dragon longsword. I was so hype I went to green drags and gave someone my ddp for free to celebrate LOL. 2006 was amazing.

Same reason why I never started playing Rs07. I loved pking in the 2005-2007 but it was such a pain to train and rs07 would not be an exception. I just do not have the time anymore with college, social activity and other games. Also what I've heard, it's just not the same anymore

You mean, one of the biggest pubstompers. Because when you realize that his stats were like godly for the timeline he was pking. He was basically statchecking noobs to death. Noobs that didn't know how to combo eat, noobs with non optimal stats and pretty much welfare for something like the og whip spec. Back when teleporting and protect prayering 1 v 1 was a bitch move. The reason I hate old school runescape is because it's not the same community as it was 10 years ago. The community now completely ruined how the game is played. Everybody protect prayers and teleports. Also God Swords/ vengeance ruined the game. This game was awesome back in the day sadly was ruined after 2006.
