@@akc1739 Yes, the Garland of Letters is probably the closest to any kind of prose work that exists or was published. Love that you read these! As far as I’m aware there are no books as such of direct writing from Lahiri Mahasaya, even though there are quite a few in his name - that are then mainly transcripts. I found an older translation of a biography that I thought would be very interesting to share.

As India was ruled by European countries translations of these ancient Sanskrit scriptures by missionaries were mixed with religious connotations. The original works are agnostic of religion and was purely spiritual and scientific. This was the aim of sharing this knowledge to mankind. Perhaps a conditioning exist consciously and subconsciously by the educational, moral economical political system that are impose to the global village people as well to the elites rulers masters and shakers.
