Everyone's requirement is different in terms of driving. Some prefer driving in hills, some on highway runs and mostly in city. All the car behaves differently on different terrain hence it may not suit people who prefers hills. People who drives in city or highways maybe good for them. Also for braking it also depends on which variant you are buying.

Vishnu that person is not telling the truth it can never happen and with my vehicle i never felt like this. From the beginning automatic braking is on in my car and till now (7000km completed) no issues. And believe me Mahindra service is excellent and they are very serious about XUV700.

Yes 1.5 L may give 5-6 km more per L but XUV is tested and known SUV now. Not sure how much petrol Safari will go

Sometimes it happens when the vehicle is new. Initially it happened with me also but now no problem. All the warning lights used to come up for my car initially. But now all these issues are not coming. For door handles u can take it to the service center It needs some minor adjustments for fixing

First thing diesel rate and petrol rate are almost same second government can bring any new law w.r.t diesel third I am not using more then 1k km per month diesel is fine for those who drive 30-40 km per day. Fourth resale price is more Fifth XUV petrol engine is very soft when compared to diesel with almost equivalent torque and power Suspension ka aisa koi noise nhi aata KZbinrs ne zyada zyada bolk faltu issue bana dia hai

No Jerk at all, it is having torque converter type of gyre box which works perfectly. From 2nd to 3rd i can feel the sound due to high rpm, but not jerk. Rest all gear upshift downshift not even noticeable.

From my perspective if you are going with a big size car then you must go for a 7 seater. Secondly as your monthly running is 1-1.5 k then a petrol car will be ideal. The benefit of a petrol car is resale value compared to diesel. Getting a good deal on resale is far better than getting 3-4 km/l more with diesel.

After 5th gear 6th gear is not shifting above 80 to 85 KM so the average is very less because 6th gear is operating after 95 km speed in Maharashtra our Highway top speed limit is 80 km only so I can't run the vehicle in 6th gear also constantly 95 speed is very risky Mahindra must give drive modes like diesel zip or economy or sports mode It will be more beneficial to improve the mileage if I tried to operate 6th gear in manual mode it is not shifting in6th gear in between 80 to 85 KM speed it is very disappointing

Great observation , same for me but In 5 also the car will give good mileage if you try to keep RPM around 1500. One more tip try using adaptive cruise control for me it's giving 17-17.5 when I am driving using adaptive cruise control

For example, let’s take about the doorhandles, those doorhandles, which are on xuv 700 are meant for cars with slim body and which are designed for extreme aerodynamics. But on the other hand, this fat car has those doorhandles which are super odd. What can you expect from a tractor company? Look at German car brands, at least, those of which are available in India, they are designed to be slick and minimalistic.
