Both luxury pack and awd is in automatic so it definitely lacks on the ax7 manual transmission whats the use such packs even if you can't add on particular variant which is also a top spec model.... I guess may be for introduction how the market reacts..

While Mahindra has not given us official numbers, the space behind the third row is only good for small laptop bags or duffle bags. And if this third row is reclined all the way back you will not be able to fit an overnight suitcase there. What you can do is is fold the third row to open up a nice and large flat boot floor which will accommodate all of your large suitcases and bags for the entire family for the weekend trip. If you still want more space then you can fold even the second row flat, which will open up space for oversized items like a washing machine or table. And if you plan on going for an adventure, a mattress will fit just fine in there.

All variants except AX7 are worthless. Creta and Seltos are much better for 5 seater space. For AX7 also, again Luxury is only provided in automatic. Only thing worth considering is AX7L.

All those going to buy XUV AWD please don't. Recently I faced an issue with my XUV 500 AWD, wherein the whole system gave way and now the whole power train needs to be changed. This system is electronic and not proven like the proper 4X 4 system. The repair is costing me approx 1.5 lac which is the same amount that I paid initially for this feature. Also the response from Mahindra has been very poor. Sincere suggestion is go for FWD only or spend your hard earned money somewhere else. The after sales support is extremely poor and I can tell you this after owning two mahindra vehicles (SCORPIO and XUV 500). Please reconsider your choices. The same system is offered on XUV 700.
