@@hheeuuoo this is what happens when you don’t have enough knowledge about how All international brands like volvo , rolls Royce and even bmw used fiver/plastic tailgates and other fiber/plastic materials on the hood etc do your research before assuming or commenting about how Mahindra is not using same or even better materials as a “ bmw” lol .

2016 Jio came with Revolution "Sasta and Sabse acha" and rest operator was like jaldi sasta kro.. NOW in 2021 Mahindra has came with same thing and rest car manufacturers be like" hm apni car itni sasti kese beche with these futuristic and excellent features" XUV700 is a game changer and far n far better even if compared with 20-25 lakhs car segment.. ❤️❤️❤️

1)100% fit and finish 2)quality of the material 3) outside noise insulated cabin 4) suspension comfort 5) good road dynamic car 6)100% active and passive safety all around the car 7) best refined engine 8) seating space and storage space 9) best service support and show room but today many mass produced cars in india lag in some area as mentioned above but many people till want unnecessary feature example like sun roof in india all products and services are sold is poor quality( but well developed countries enjoy the best quality) if our people demand our market and environment will change we get poor quality in all products and services due to (people non awarness , price sensitivity market , no strong policy in india to protect consumer, anti competitive business practices in india)

Good review. I would have however preferred giving ADAS feature a bit more of a limelight. It is a segment first and is the USP of the car (apart from the price). And we should really commend Mahindra for this step in the right direction when we Indians are mostly concerned about just big screens.

Mahindra has indeed declared war. They're going to come out with safety ratings next. Which will destroy Creta and Seltos. How will they ever match demand is a different issue entirely. I don't think Mahindra can produce this.

XUV-700 is going to be a game changer in Indian SUV market. It has a bunch of safety features that you see in only Bimmers and Audies. Adaptive cruise control, auto breaking are mind blowing !

The lower trims are gonna be the one pulling customers from lower segments like creta. Hence those lower trims need to be reviewed sooner otherwise it just defeats the purpose of it being agressively priced.

Once you start using adaptive cruise control, you can never go back. I used it in base Corolla hatch here in Aus and you won’t get tired at all driving miles and miles and miles

Currently SUV 700 is in marketing hype phase, it's not gonna make it eventually because of its lacking in mechanical safety features. Tata Motors is far away in safety and many other rivals are started following because of changes happening on ground, now Indian car buyers are started giving preference to safety over other fancy tech features.

Few things I noticed:- No powered Tailgate. The screws on the door pads aren't concealed. 13:23 The Panels were shaking somehow, maybe that's just due to the camer or something.

It's is a pain to see a beautiful petrol car with an fuel average of 5/6 city real average and then cancelling it after booking realising that it won't mach my pocket after buying it. I drive 30 km every day one way most of day and this means 5 ltrs one way and 600 one side . This is a white elephant which is pride with pain on pocket. Dont know what say but a sad emoji

Awesome first hand review 👌🤘, Mahindra 🇮🇳 setting new standards 😎, Really liked the front seat slidling handle on the side for middle row passenger👌, I liked the rear design but rear logo housing is definitely an after thought😅, Those panels extruding the front windows are annoying🤥, Design of chrome bits on grill is good but can be improved😏

In love with this car already but did anyone notice the entire front end of the car shake and jitter @13:25 while going over bumps? Is that cause this is a pre production car or will it be evident henceforth as well? Kind of an eye sore once you have seen it!

Dear Mayank, those bumps were massive.. I was driving much faster than the rated speed for that section of test track.. That amount of movement is not a flaw/concern.

Hey Karthik, thank you for watching! Like with sheet metal the external skin doesn't decide the overall strength. So I wouldn't worry about it. And plastic is better from a dent/repair standpoint.

Its a balanced review...yes it was intimidating with classic power drift shots but Karthik..you said it all.. Pros and cons the small holes which could cost XUVs custom satisfaction matrix. I think Mahindra team has to take this positive and negatives rightly and improve on them. Said that, @Mahindra hit the ball out the stadium with the XUV 700 with competitors left with no choice . Why competitors even Mahindra's Thar owners will think again. Its gonna be the best machine out there. Kudos to Mahindra team. Definitely looking forward to book one.

After completing the spiti trip we are stuck in Manali from past two days..our 4months old Mahindra Thar got towed due to some OBD Check Lamp warning from Batal, Spiti..the car is not able to pull beyond 1500rpm. The Mahindra service center tried to reduce the soot mass for last 2 days and now they are saying ordering a DPF filter is going to take another 7-8days and we will have to wait for it. Also they are saying fault is with us as we didn't do Regen while we didn't get any Regen warning. They are also saying they can't share the regen data if the warning came and for how long ,even after 2 days of analysis. DPF filter costs 70k and doesn't come under warranty. Even we were ready to pay just to join office in time, but now they are saying it will take 7-8days to get the DPF filter. Go for any other SUV it is just a good looking car and will make you feel you are driving a powerful car but it is just the feeling but in reality it is unreliable.Be careful if you are going with Mahindra

Mahindra really tore the house down with a 12L starting price. I know it's for the base variant and obviously the higher variants would cost more but for someone like me who likes to get everything modified himself from the market, it's bang for buck.

I believe mahindra is pulling down the profit margin of other manufacturers in india. But addition of safety features at affordable price range forces other manufacturers to do the same .... Which is a good move

Patience is the key... What a way to end the video Karthik sir... Such a clean and fuss free video and XUV 700 did deserve this level of videography and presentation.. Mahindra has taken a smart step forward and with price announcement done before anyone drove it, the message was loud and clear... Hoping to see a lot of these on the streets very soon... Mahindra is gonna really bring truckloads of trouble for the likes of Safari, Hector and Alcazar etc... Guess such a huge price difference is tough to justify for XUV700's competition...

Harrier is way expensive, the base variant of harrier starts from 17+lacs , you get just body of the car, no sunroof,no touchscreen, no sunroof, nothing, not even music system! With the same price you will get the AX5 variant of XUV 700 with tons of features!!! ( Price in Bhutan may vary)

By the way, I am preparing myself mentally to get a vehicle, maybe within a year's time. Since the XUV 700 straddles a pretty extensive range (and evokes some serious aspirations), I would love it if you guys could make a comparision video covering the comfort, ride and handling, efficiency and feature lists between the top end Sonet petrol and diesel variants and the corresponding XUV 700 variants in that price range. Please do consider this if possible.

this is perfect timing cuz we just sold our xuv 500 after 10yrs of ownership and that car still worked just fine , and we sold that on the premise that it was as it is going to outlive the law that said no diesel car can be owned after 10yrs of ownership. the xuv lineup is amazing
