Mahmood is a big manga and anime fan, videogamer too, he takes a lot from japanese culture on his works because as the majority of people around his age (30) he grew up with many japanese anime. The song is in fact inspired by Inuyasha but just in a metaphoric way on the concept of life in it, because he is an half-demon and he renounced to become a full demon for his comrades' sake, sacrificing "a part" of him for what he really wants. The text is a perfect metaphor that aims to describe the complexity of relationships, between the desire for expression and the need not to make others weigh the worst part of ourselves, also accepting the other's mistakes and forgive one another ^^

Inuyasha è il secondo tempo di Rapide. La pubblicità è durata più di un anno e ne è decisamente valsa la pena. Per mettersi a nudo così, senza farsi sconti, ci vuole tanto rispetto per quello che si fa. Ripensando alle parole, mi viene da credere che qualche volta, senza sapere in che modo, la sofferenza ( come quella provata dentro una relazione incasinata) serve a qualcosa, non è del tutto inutile, perché ti regala una profondità che altrimenti non si sarebbe acquisita. "Penso qua sopra il muretto di casa come ho fatto a credere che alla mia età si possa andare avanti senza perdono? Perché di sputarsi in faccia in Piazza Duomo non mi va " " Passare tutti i giorni assieme fa paura, dirti che voglio stare solo è difficile. La gente ti parla, poi ti ama vuole tutto, poi ti spara preferisco te a chi mi mente scopare in giro non mi lascia niente " Il video è potentissimo. Il livello è internazionale: fa emergere la tua grande personalità.
