I am from Ethiopoa and I remember what my father told me about Yemene : f you see a brave person in Middle east , that person either Yemene or has at least 1/4 Yenene DNA. That does not mean a person from Middle East is not brave but no one like Yenene. God Bless you. May God bring peace and stability in Yemen.

Thanks Belay. This and Tiw Limad Galaye are my ( and my sons ) most favorite Tazitawoch. Mahmoud is a world class singer with such a sweet and matured voice. A thorough Gentleman. Another was the vibrant Tilahun Gussesse withsongs like Yehoden Awtiche, Mintharragyalish.... As a man born in Eth.and lived a million sweet years, (God we miss it so much ) I remember others too since in my childhood and later, like the Bakale sisters, Alamayehu Ishethe, Aster. When the song begins with the usual familiar instruments for Eth.songs, I am immediately transported back into nostaligic memories of far and near past. Saw Mahmoud performing with Roha and others, musical nights lighted by Tilahun and younger generations were so enthusing. I also, as a boy remember Emperor Haile Sellasie . Even though born in 19th century, I think he had the vision to set the tune of Modern Ethiopia (and Africa?) and other leaders too continued as per their perceptions. Present day Eth. is progressing very well. So Nice. I miss so many of my Abasha friends from all ethnicities and foreign residents friends who love Ethiopia like me, the shaai enna dabbo, machiatto, the nice streets of various towns with equally konjo ladies and Gentlemen walking about. Remember L.T. expertly handling his F5Es and also footballers of yesteryears like Mangistu worku ,Luciano and the long distance Mega stars. The sweet impressions of uniqueness of Ethopian culture and polite ppl will always remain with us. . Hope their decent hospitality will continue to exist for zalaalam.. But you know what !, I dont miss injerra, bcz. I am getting them where I live...haha .
