Guys! I’m SO bummed for you. On the Brasil side, you should have gotten off at the first bus stop and walked the trail along the falls. It’s a long walk, but you would see the river and the falls, all the way until the area where the overlook is. You missed a lot

The argentine side is more eco friendly, helicopter are forbidden because of their noice, Boat ride are available on both side. The falls are located on the argentine side of the border and Brazil is in front of them, so you can see them in panoramic view, but the experience of being so close, almost touching them, is in Argentina. Another beutiful thing of argentine side is to walk between animals like coatis, monkeys and differents kind of birds. Important, the most luxury hotel is located in Argenitna. Hotel Internacional Melia Iguazu. Excellent sights from your balcony to Cataratas and hearing the sound of Garganta del Diablo while you sleep at night. Unforgettable !! Expensive but it worth while to spent 2 nights of an incredible place.

Best attractions of Iguaçu/Iguazu falls 1) Walk to center 360 of the falls (Brazil) 2) Walk to top of devil throat when it is not closed (Argentina) 3) Boat ride into falls on better small boats (Brazil) or on bigger crowded boats (Argentina) 4) Panoramic view of the falls (Brazil) 5) Elevator/stairs/tower in front of water fall (Brazil) 6) Walk park to smaller falls (Argentina) 7) Five star hotel inside park with exclusive Monday and first morning view (Brazil) 8) Trip to second largest dam in the world (Brazil) 9) Immersive walk among birds park (Brazil) Conclusion: Brazil is the better side, specially if Devil's throat walk in Argentina is closed (1/2 of the time when there is high volume of water).

Yes, and that actualy is the reason to go on Brasil side, because there is a walk route along the river with several view points, from where you can clearly see all (or the most of) argentinian side water falls... From Argentina side you will see only that 20% of water falls of Brasil side ...and Devil's throat of course. But the Devil's throat looks to be quite epic, so the best solution is definitely to visit both and not miss anything :) I dont understand why these guys did not take the walk route along the river on the Brasil side and just took the bus on the main road to the final view point... seems to me like missing everything And finally what you should definitely visit on Brasil side is the bird sanctuary named "Parque Das Aves", which is just next to the falls. It is like a big bird zoo, where you can feed the birds, walk around them through their aviary and see many tropical species like toucans, hyacinth macaws, flamingos etc. (half of the birds in the sancturay were rescued from smugglers) Great expirience.
