Could you have used the biscuit joiner for the table top hold downs? Maybe it doesn't go deep enough but would have saved a jig setup.

Possibly, but getting the slot 10 degrees to the face would have been a bit of a trick.

Thanks! I brought it to my shop for sentimental reasons. I used this saw when I was a kid and I wanted to restore it. I never expected to find so many uses for it. Now it's a part of nearly every project.
