Oh it came down like a Georgia rain, Blew like it was Chicago again, Despite all of my friendly advice, Oh baby I came back for you just one more time. Oh I walked those streets with neon lights, Where lovers kiss and all them brothers fight, Oh I walked straight on my third eye blind, Oh baby I'm'a gonna gonna make you mine. Ooooooooo Ooooooooo Ooooooooo Ooooooooo Almost packed it all in last night, Gave up, gave in I lost all my fight, Turned the radio on that night, It was Same Cooke singing Another Saturday Night' Ooooooooo Ooooooooo Ooooooooo Baby I'm'a gonna gonna make you mine.

@Dan Bettridge thank you for sharing this gem with the world! you're voice is amazing, your timber, tone and cadence is so soothing and is indicative of such an old soul. I myself, love acoustic/folk songs. My boyfriend however, rarely appreciates/enjoys music of this genre. Sometimes he'll even politely ask me to turn it off. I played this for him and he was blown away. He asked how old the song was and who this old rugged man was (he hadn't seen the video). I showed him this Mahogany video. He was very impressed and commented that "you're an old soul trapped in a young man". I think that kind of endeared him to your music, being that he looks about 20ish but he's coming up on his 40s. He has had a hard life and has been alone since he was 18. He also has undiagnosed Aspergers and rarely emotes or comes out of his shell. But ever since I showed him Third Eye Blind, he'll ask me to play it and least 2-3 times a week, and he'll eventually start singing along. I know it seems like an innocuous thing for someone to sing along but for him it's a huge break through. His favorite lyric is "oh, I walk straight on my third eye blind. Oh, baby, I'm a goner gonna make you mine". Because he's undiagnosed, he's not fully aware of his own condition and tells me that "something within me is off and not quite right. I don't know what it is but I know I love you." After 8 years of together he finally opened up after hearing this song. It was much needed catharsis for both of us. He's not very good with remembering artists or song titles, so he'll say "hey babe, play my song for you". Sometimes he calls it the "goner song" or asks me to play the song that goes "ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh". Lol Sorry, to bombard you with so much information at once. I just really wanted to thank you and let you know how much your music means to people. Thank you for making this beautiful song, please don't ever stop making music, the world needs it.
