This game was crazy, we were so close to beating them too, but this game showed that mahomes is out of this world

That 4th and 9 play set the tone for Lamar vs Mahomes. If we had stopped them on that play and if Martindale didn't chuck CJ Mosley (who's biggest weakness was and still is playing coverage) on the fastest man that the league has seen since Darrell Green, we win that game and who knows what the current tally between these two great QBs is. I have a feeling that tonight's game like the previous five meetings, will come down to which team gets the big break in the 4th Quarter to clinch the game. Mahomes has this play, a 3rd and 20 screen pass to clinch the 2019 game, a questionable roughing the passer call which led to the Chiefs putting the 2020 game on ice with a late game TD (If that doesn't get called, the Ravens have the ball back with a chance to tie the game), and Zay Flowers fumbling on the 1 yard line/Lamar having a brain fart on that INT. While Lamar has CEH getting his clock cleaned just as the Chiefs were about to snag victory in a game that the Ravens had no business winning both on paper and on the stat sheet. Who will get the big break this year?

I ain't gonna lie as a Bengals fan, I was so glad that the Chiefs beat Baltimore because I always hated Baltimore, and I'm just glad that Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have just owned them. The Ravens offensive have been about balance in terms of where to throw the ball to. Even if they get a top WR, they're going to put him in the same rotation that they use with the other WRs where they mostly block and catch like 4-5 passes a game. Also this is the AFC North, you can't have a pass heavy offense and expect to win this division unless every single thing goes your way, you just can't. (The Ravens of the mid-2010s, the Killer B's, and now the Bengals have to learn this lesson the hard way)
