Manners of making Dua against a tyrant ruler Things to consider: Do you really have the heart to make such a Dua? Do you have humbleness to stand before Allah? Do you accept that you are as sinful as this tyrant? If you don't accept this, you have no manners. You can't send orders to Allah. Rather you have to beg like a worthless sinner. If you are arrogant and do fake crying in your dua to deceive people you can be afflicted by unknown illnesses. If your Dua against this tyrant is not answered but Allah changes your heart and grants you Imaan. Will you accept this? If no, you are an ungrateful person. You must approach Allah with the attitude of gratitude. Do you have neediness of Allah? Are you a person who regularly seek closeness to Allah by doing istighfar. Do you follow the Deen, avoid sins and avoid people who mock the Deen of Islam? If you are so worried about a tyrant, you should be a very charitable person who helps people secretly? Are you really kind to people and tolerate people's faults? If you are not generous,Allah does not show any generosity. If you are so concerned about a tyrant, you should be able to seek forgiveness for this tyrant's supporters. If you don't have compassion, Allah has no compassion for you no matter how big is your ibadah. Are you sure you are worried about the tyrant's injustice or you have grudge against him? You can't approach Allah with grudges or hatred. Remember Allah is not your customer service agent. You must feel Allah's awe. Are you obsessed by this tyrant or you have more trust in Allah's infinite Rahma and His unimaginable Power? If the tyrant is always in mind, you have to work on your imaan first. The essence of Dua is the sincerity of heart. Big words, tears, fake acting, "I am good and all others are wicked" mentally will bring curses.
