Should have gotten the bronze in the floor finals. She was religiously underscored from 213-2016. By far one of my favorite gymnasts of this quad, a real shame that she didnt receive a medal.

Tinkler would have went 14.6 at Worlds probably! I was going to flip if she got silver. Her D is a 6.4 though, Raisman only had 6.5 so she would have needed to stick every landing and maximize that leap positions and maybe downgrade a leap to add something after the last pass.

I think her score was quite harsh to, but lets be honest there were some notable deductions in this routine. Her Chusovitina was landed deep, she basically fell out of that double wolf turn and the tour jete 1/1 was a bit out of control. The bronze medal pretty much came down to tenths and she needed to be perfect and she wasn't. I hope she sticks around until 2020 though

Craig Tilley Mai would be 23. Not bad. Tinkler would be 20. Big difference.

Robbed of bronze twice. 2013 FX EF and 2016 FX EF. Her tumbling and landings were much cleaner than Amy Tinkler's in my opinion. Ugh, I swear judges hate japanese floor. Sae Miyakawa, Mai, etc.

It was very good right up until the double wolf turn and the tour jete 1/1, which let her down a little bit. Bronze would be more realistic with the double wolf turn from the AA (the only time she got it around fully) and the tour jete 1/1 from prelims. At the same time the tour jete 1/1 was iffy in the competitions leading up to Rio so it was not surprising to me that it was not given. What _was_ surprising and quite disappointing to me personally was that they did not credit her quad spin, but even if they did I don't think it'd have quite been enough. Amy on the other hand did not give much away on her dance elements. As far as the landings go, they probably decided to capitalize on her second tumbling pass even though the other three were quite nice, on the basis that it was underrotated and thus took off more for dynamics (not that I agree, even though I think this is pretty much also what happened to Rebeca's Amanar in comparison to say Aly's). There was also the setback of performing first in the start list (I also feel this affected Wang Yan, who went after her). That said, 4th still sounds a lot better than 7th. Personally, I think her outing in finals should have at least placed 5th either way.

Well she was only credited 6.3 and that's why I wrote 6.3.
