This is why I am glad I only had one attendant. My longest friend was my MOH. It made it easy to deal with as we are quite similar. Those 2 year olds would have been kicked out of my bridal party after embarrassing me at the store. I would not trust either one to behave at any bridal showers, rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony or reception. People pay too much money, spend too much time and effort planning a wedding. It is bad enough that the bride may be a pain but bridesmaids? They rank below the bride, groom, officiant and parents and maybe even the guests. They are not necessary for a wedding to take place. They can be a great help to the bride but not if they fight and disrupt the process.

Dang! How things have changed in 52 "short" years! My bridesmaids and I with the guys went to Canal Street in central New Orleans to shop for the dresses. I knew what I had in mind, I found 2 in the color and style. I had the final say. The end. No one fought, no one got mad. The whole bridal party concept should be abolished. It empowers bullies. This guy should be running. Calling for backup. He states that he feels there's 'some tension' going on. I think it's high voltage. (The last dress was beautiful with the rhinestone belt. Red shoes would have been the perfect touch.) The whole wedding party drama has become so Back Alley brawl. No part of it enriches the experience for the couple.It gets hijacked to a beauty pageant competition and a popularity contest. I found this very Maury Povich. Disturbing how they would lend themselves to this. The bridesmaids And the show. There are boundaries,and those who thrive on stomping them. Bride would have done herself a favor to get her friends together and make a blanket statement. They're all invited. She loves them all. Wear whatever makes you feel happy and stunning. There will be no bridal party. End of story. If they will behave so hideously on national television, what will they do the day of the wedding?
