Russia has expressed many times they feel they have the right to protect donbas however nato has been sending billions of dollars in weapons to Ukraine military creating a situation for genocide in donbas if Russia does not intervien. Ukraine is inviting russias enemy(nato) to place weapons in Ukraine against Russia. The guns the protesters have are short range and air rifles I think I saw 2 or 3 long guns capable of long range lethality. It is ironic in the end the mention of protesters attacking the capital building though it certainly didn't go as he described.
