MAIDEN AND RADIO SETUP of the ARROWS HOBBY L-39 ALBATROS by FGFRC

Well here is the radio setup and maiden of this little pocket rocket the Arrows Hobby L-39 Albatros!
The radio setup is pretty straightforward in that you need forward in the Arrows Hobby L-39 albatros in that if you use a 4 channel receiver then you will need to use the rudder on a 3 position switch . This way you can take advantage of the Vector system's three flight modes. They are optimized or wind mitigation, no gyro, and stability mode which is self level.

Cool little plane. Many years ago I was blessed to get a ride in a friends L39 from "AZ82" Mogollon Airpark, AZ over to Sedona, AZ. Awesome experience. Grainy old video on my channel of the flight, wish I had all the video equipment I have now for that flight, would have been cool to get better footage of the flight. For hand launches, "SAFE" mode is your friend to keep it level until you take the sticks.

When I started flying, it was only balsa planes with nitro engine.. when it was winter, we just removed the landing gears, to land at the snow. I had a low ving, with 7,5ccm engine. That plane I did throw inverted, because i did have a good grip at the fuse. So when i did throw the plane, it looked like a high ving. I am throwing low ving airplanes inverted to this day. And no safe. Safe are for beginners. 😂😂 Regards from Norway.

Your going to need another Hanger soon at the rate your going you'll have hundreds of planes. Arrows have hit a home run with these little edfs I have the B A E Hawk I fly it with a 1500mah 3s it's great , only pain in the bazooy is the P51 it's hard to get that guy off the ground because of the Nasty P factor but once in the air though it's like rest of their planes ,fun to fly.

Well i have a good club who benefits from me consistently rotating out stock. Yeah the Bae Hawk, Viper and the t-33 are all little winners. Now i need the the T-28 1100mm or the corsair 1100mm.

I find it much easier launching under-arm just behind the intakes 👍🏻

Make sure you give her a strong hand toss. The EDF unit has plenty of thrust but only once it is spun up. Full throttle toss!
