Coming from electric, I never liked fuel as it all sounds like weedeaters flying by but this .... this sounds fantastic.

My weedeater sounds like my .91 glow motor. So I got an electric weedeater. lol My 12 year old has gotten me back into the sport. Got glow fuel on the driveway after testing. Everyday I walk outside and that smell just puts a smile on my face.

Hello, I ended up putting a FG 33R3 in my Ultra Stick to only break it in and love the combo! I can only imagine the 60R3! I was thinking about putting a Pegasus 320 on mine to break it in. How much weight did you need to balance it out with the 60R3? The Pegasus is about .2 lbs heavier than the 60R3.

Thats awesome..a lot of engine on a small airframe..does it balance well?.. I just got a seagull models p26 peashooter and the fg60r3 will fit perfectly..im just a little worried ..its alot of engine weight for my particular airframe..i have a little less wing loading at 1.8 metre than the stick with 2 metres..and i know the stick is a good floater..any input on this choice would be great.. Love the video 👍

Thanks! Yeah, Hangar 9 actually hid a small battery compartment in the back of the plane. All you need to do is make a small cover and you can hide all three batteries (2 x RX and 1 x IGN) in there. I dont neet a gram of lead to balance that way. Maybe theres some way you can get the batteries in the tail of the Peashooter too. Great little plane and with the short nose the FG-60 will be a great match me thinks.

@@Reverend77 your welcome..well that makes me feel good about going ahead with the plan..yeah i know all about utilising the equipment to get balance correct..dont like 2 bangers much ..and id like this plane to have grunt..+it will with the fg60r3..and i can prop it with a 3 blade to pull well..appreciate your input ..and im hooked Il get this engine for sure..is your engine full stock..any problems with lower cylinders running rich..

@@danielhitchens4407 full stock, no issues. Engine takes some time to break in and you need to put some effort into the needle settings. Then it will rund smoothly. I would consider a ramoser (varioprop) variable pitch scale prop for the peashooter. Its scale and you can set it to the perfect RPM.

@@Reverend77 my auw with fg60r3 will be 17.6 pounds..apparently engine with ignition and exhaust is about 4.8 pounds..seems it might be doable

the engine is destined for a warbird. but the stich is the perfect way of breaking it in.

@@Reverend77I agree and was going to say the same. Good way to break in…not a waste and even if you do keep it on there still nice. Most people do not even have a radial at my rc field.
