EROS - designed in 1948 by John Cosby as a 7 ft span freeflight model Converted to R/C for rudder, elevator and motor control. Weight just over 5 lbs giving a wing loading of 12 ozs/sq ft. Conventional balsa construction and covered in doped polyester faux silk over laminating film which reduces amount of dope needed to seal the faux silk as well as adding to covering strength. Power train is an Emax BL 2820/07 which produces about 350W power from a 3S 3000 lipo cell driving a wooden Zinger 12 X 5 propeller. Take off from hard surface only needed about 1/2 that. Motor control is a YT ESC rated at 60A. Rx and 2 off 17 gm servos used - accessed through bottom of fuselage. battery and ESC accessed behind motor under top cowling. Wing halves plugged into carbon rod joiners through the fuselage adding another 4.5 " to span. Resulting CG came out at 31% from L/Edge

is the UC a commercial unit? I'm building a 62 inch Popsie and am wondering whether to use one instead of the 10 swg wire.
