maiden voyage in our grand design imagine

we drove down to wall doxey state park after Jacksons 2 soccer games on Saturday. A quick trip in our 2019 grand design imagine xls 21bhe. We stopped by Wal-mart and picked up some groceries and supplies for the trailer. A successful test run to see how the trailer towed with our vehicle and to get everyone somewhat familiar with procedures and layout of rv camping.

Rule #1 when backing - EVERYONE including animals out of the cab (allows for dad to swear unhinged) #2 Husband and wife must maintain verbal separation - 2 way radios are not allowed - hand signals only #3 have cold beer ready when trailer is parked.

Haha rookie mistakes. We did a lot of boondocking too so reservations weren’t always necessary. We did learn quick to make them when we needed to.

Actually just watched the video where you replaced it. We're going to be towing a 2021 21bhe with an Expedition. We also have the same year Sequoia as you had and I was surprised to see it towing the 21bhe.

@@NM-fv3gc yeah the sequoia held up good on the shorter 2-4 hour trips. that long haul and steep inclines just did it in. granted it lived a good life and had 300k miles on it. The F150 definitely hauled a lot better.

Absolutely not lol. It handled well on shorter trips. But presented multiple problems on cross country trip.
