A really beautiful ship i have seen it once in my lifetime in rotterdam

I actually traveled to Germany on the SS Rotterdam via Amsterdam in 1959. I was 9 mos old. The only memories I have are of the story my momtol. My dad was stationed in Germany and went before us. He met us at port. We spent the next 4 years in Germany.

I love how the Dutch guys narraration is like “gluckenspëiler” or whatever, then an English word comes along and he’s like, Lawn Chair (in a slight American accent)

Gran acierto haber preservado este histórico trasatlántico. Desde 2008 convertido en hotel y museo en el puerto de Rotterdam. Desgraciadamente no se pudo o mas bien no intereso hacerlo con otro histórico trasatlántico el ss. NORWAY el legendario ss. FRANCE. Una verdadera lástima hoy en dia seria otro hotel y museo en algun puerto importante de Europa como lo es el que nos ocupa. En fin una vergüenza, mi enhorabuena por preservar este gran buque holandés.

ocean liners give e like some kind of comfy feeling.. I really like vintage stuff especially the muzic and the design of the Rotterdam and inside gives me thath feeling ive been on thath ship like 4 or 3 times and i love it there Theres just something about the 30s 40s 50s 60s i like its the design and muzic
