On a 3 week tour of Switzerland and surrounding areas, (during June 2023) we visited Maienfeld totally unplanned on way from Vaduz to Chur and end up staying for the whole afternoon. What a beautifull village!! The upkeep of the houses and gardens are just unbelievable stunning. Not overrun by tourists as so many other places we have been to. Locals are so friendly. Congratulations to the City Board for maintanance and keeping everything so clean, even the public bathrooms in the middle of town

I visited this town when I stayed in Davos with family. This is a place with real charm. We also went to the nearby picturesque town of Malans. At the local Gasthaus, we sampled the delicious regional cuisine and wines. Thanks for the memories, you’ve made my day.

Unfortunately, it's exactly the opposite around 😟 There are not enough therapeuts (in the cities) and not enough beds in psychiatric hospitals, especially for teenagers and children, whose numbers are growing ever faster 🤔 Patients often have to wait for several months until they get their first appointment ☹️ Mental health is a huge issue in this country and the situation has worsened since the Covid pandemic 🙄 I think a lot of people have a romanticized, unrealistic view of Switzerland 😤
