Legend is always a legend. No compare with a youngster. A tune with full of classical notes doesn't always fulfill the auora of ghazal. The first notion of any ghazal is to touch the heart. Still today, no ghazal singer has the velvet melodies voice of Pankaj Udhas. His rendition, music and tune are unique and gave a new genre to Ghazals. The way Pankaj sang this ghazal with simplicity but with great depthness careses the heart of listeners. Just listen to the first word ' Maikada tha'..
