With the school like this, I wouldn’t wanna go home neither, play with my friends every day and being served good food. Look at how clean the floor is and teachers seem pretty cool, probably better than parents at home.
When the cafeteria chef can speak English, that's when you know how great this school is! HAHA! Very impressed!...I would like to know what kind of careers their alumni end up in.
I am so impressed with this school and the facilities it provides for the students. The total annual fee is actually very reasonable indeed compared to the boarding schools in the UK.

Wow. How expensive can those get?
@MariaMaria-sz1rm3 жыл бұрын
@@mypartyisprivate8693 On average, UK independent boarding schools cost £42,000 excluding extra curricula activities like individual music lessons, sports coaching (ie, tennis) or dance lessons like ballet, etc!

@@MariaMaria-sz1rm The median annual earnings for full-time employees in London 2020 is 41,017GBP, and the boarding school costs 42,000 GBP. The median annual earning in Shanghai is 149,377 CNY, but the bording shool costs 250,000 CNY. So i guess if considering the earnings, the Shanghai one is more expensive.

Students are the best judges This private school looks effortless in all categories. Everything runs so smoothly it all seems so natural. The building breathes as its so well designed the food is gourmet.
I realize this is a private school. Still, the lunch in California's public schools are so disappointing compared to the foods in this school. Overall, majority of Chinese families cannot afford such high end education. Maybe a comparison from different regions might be more informative, whenever you have the opportunity to do so.

This is cheap less than 40K per year. Many are around 60K for tuition around Shanghai. Most of these kids are from Rich families, like U.S., what make you Rich vs. Wealthy. Rich is when you ride horses, Polo.
Your video is so good. Well presented, a bit of jokes, etc..it has almost everything.

Obviously, this school is for the above middle-class level Chinese family, their tuition is even higher than the private school in the States. But to take Lei-Feng as an example for teaching, bad.., the most important thing is not the skills that they are learning, it is the ideology and morality that cultivate their mind.

This school is definitely worth the cost, considering how much students love the school and have much access to many fields of learning. My private high school in the U.S. costed my family roughly $80,000 per year for boarding (close to $50,000 for day students), but the environment was so toxic, especially toward Chinese international students. Many weren't allowed to speak Chinese, even with friends. (The school even once hosted a school meeting to publicly humiliate the Chinese kids, banning them from talking to each other in Chinese) But, Spanish was encouraged on-campus. WTF:( They also give contemptuous attitude if your family doesn't come from this super-privileged background or connect to the school's board team. There are also other things that local kids are pissed off like the school only raises up tuition every year but barely spends money in hiring better and qualified teachers.
@iseeflowers2 жыл бұрын
Wow, that is expensive $80k a year? Not sure how many families can afford that. If I have kids, I wouldn’t send them there either with that kind of environment and management.

these students enjoy staying in dorm rather than their homes, must be fun living there
Their parents need to pay at least 20K RMB per month for tuition fee and accommodation, plus maybe 5k more for their child's living expenses, make it around 25K RMB per month per kid. If they have 2 kids then the cost would be 50K RMB or 8K USD per month. Expensive
Excellent buddy. Excellent students, excellent school & its academic system. Excellent video. Always love to see how different countries & its academic system fair with one another, particularly those top tier ones. But let's not forget the most underprivileged ones in villages & outskirts òf towns & cities trying to get by each passing day without such privileges as these ones have. We can only pray they are accorded with, at least, some of it. May these students prosper China in unprecedented ways in return for such affirmative actions & undertakings the government has put in place for the overall welfare of its rising young generations. These multi lingual genre are Chinas global forces to be reckon with. Not sure any system in place in retaining these future global elite. Multi lingual is a sign of migration.

Bonjour et bonne année , merci teacher mike pour ces vidéos sur les écoles internationales en chine , ça va beaucoup m’aider pour envoyer mes enfants dans une école internationale en chine à l’avenir . Merci d’avoir partager votre expérience.
Resources are limited, and will always be concentrated on the rich. I was born in an average Chinese family and this was not how a general child was brought up. I am so worried about my kid for living in such a competition with such peers of his/her generation! lol...Really need to work harder and get richer...wait, they were born in Rome!! Okay, I'd better take care of my own life. But I anyway really envy them, not only because of their wealth but also their confident and generous mindset that I cannot pretend to own. Good to see it!

it's incredible. It's virtually, the future of children is based on money. The parents do not raise children but elite. My son says it's totally cool, but he still prefers to stay in a normal school, he doesn't have to make any arrangements, we are broke and in Germany there aren't that many private schools anyway. The Germans are not keen on such private schools and my husband never understands why the Chinese are willing to go to any lengths to raise their children

It is for the rich and privileged. I hope it does not have to cost so much. These boys and girls should know that they are way ahead of others in getting ahead in their life and treasure the opportunity and at the same time enjoy the time spent in this school. By comparison, the private school grade 1 to 12 in Surrey BC Canada that my grandkids attend (day school, no boarding) cost about Can 1500$ per year. I would say relatively cheap. Thank you Teacher Mike for bringing us right into this one of the best equipped and well run school in China and understand the best quality of primary and high school education available in China. I believe the school is making good money.
